A user is a person who has signed up to the FlexUp App with an email address and password.

When signing up, each user creates a personal account, and is automatically added as an admin member of that account.

Memberships:

A user can be a member of one or more accounts:

• either existing accounts, that they are invited to join,
• or new accounts that they create themselves.

This is referred to as the user’s memberships (the accounts they are a member of).

Members:

An account can have one or more members. Each member can be have one of the following roles:

• Admin 🔑: can manage the account and all its members.
• Member ✏️: can manage the account, but not its members.
• Viewer 👀: can only view the account, but not manage it.

This is referred to as the account’s members (the users that have access to the account).
