A third party is, within the FlexUp App, any account other than your current account.
You can add a third party to your local directory:
- by searching for an existing account in the global directory, or
- by creating a new account.
Adding third parties to your local directory allows you to easily create transactions with them, such as contracts, orders, and payments.
Third parties can be:
- Online accounts:
- Active accounts managed by other users within the FlexUp system (i.e. they have at least one active member)
- You can make transactions with them directly through the FlexUp app, and these will automatically be recorded in your account.
- Visibility options:
- Public 🌍: visible to all users in the system, or
- Private 🔒: only visible to users who have them in their local directory.
- Offline accounts:
- Inactive accounts that you create only for bookkeeping purposes
- They are not managed by other users within the FlexUp system (i.e. they have no active members)
- You can use the FlexUp app to manually record and track transactions that you conduct with them outside the app.
- Visibility options:
- Local 📍: only visible within the account that created them
Your local directory displays all the third party accounts (both online and offline) that you’ve bookmarked for easy access.
