A Contribution is the value that a Supplier delivers to a Client in fulfilment of their side of the agreement. In most cases, the contribution is exchanged for remuneration. If the contract is a donation, the contribution is provided without expecting payment.
Contribution depends on the type of contract:
- In a commercial contract, the contribution is a **product** – meaning any work, service, good, or non-financial value delivered through an order.
- In a funding or donation contract, the contribution is a payment made by the supplier.
- In a transfer contract, the contribution is an existing commitment that the supplier transfers to the client, without changing the original payor of that commitment.
